I was born and raised in Westphalia in 1970. I have always been fascinated by what truly connects people and brings lasting fulfilment. In my search to understand this and to look “behind the curtain,” I studied Applied Theatre Studies.
With curiosity, I also acquired various skills to earn a living in different professions. However, after some time, this no longer satisfied me, and I kept searching. Eventually, I discovered somatic-oriented psychotherapy, a combination of humanistic psychotherapy, bodywork, and active meditation.
I have undergone many years of practical and theoretical training in psychotherapy, learning from internationally recognised therapists, in some cases under medical supervision. I continuously attend further training and retreats, deepen my knowledge through teaching assistance, and participate in supervision.
