Therapeutic Walks

Since the COVID pandemic, I have had positive experiences with psychotherapeutic walks. They offer a unique form of psychotherapy, as our conversations take place outdoors in nature rather than in a practice room. Movement in fresh air can make thinking and speaking easier and help release emotional blockages.

Walking at one’s own pace enhances self-awareness and can have a calming effect. At the same time, it helps to reduce tension and allows for easier access to emotions. Some clients find it easier to talk while walking side by side rather than sitting face-to-face.

Walking creates a natural rhythm that can also stimulate the flow of thoughts. Small observations in the surroundings—such as a bird or a gentle breeze—can serve as anchors for mindfulness. The shift in perspective, both internally and externally, can help to recognise and dissolve stuck patterns.

Each walk lasts one hour and begins and ends at my practice in Karlsruhe-Grünwettersbach.

Please let me know if you are interested in a walk. If you already have an appointment at my practice you can decide spontaneously before beginning …

I would be happy to support you personally.
Just give me a call or send me an e-mail so that we can speak today or tomorrow about finding an appointment. > Contact
